The Urban Rifle Tactics Course introduces the student to the core fundamentals of running the Carbine for defensive purposes.

Topics covered:
•Carbine safety and handling.
•Fundamentals of marksmanship.
•The why and how of zeroing the defensive carbine.
•4 points of contact.
•Emergency / Tactical reloads.
•Ready vs. carry positions.
•Shooting positions.
•Defensive use of cover.
•Dealing with stoppages/malfunctions.
•Multiple threat engagement.
•Mechanical offset.
•Engaging threats in a 360-degree environment.
•Ballistics and more.

Required gear:
•Carbine (556/300blk/7.62x39/ 9mm/ etc.)
•3 Carbine magazines. Sling (2 points recommended).
•300 rounds of carbine ammo.
•Ability to carry 1 Carbine magazine on your body.
•Pistol. 50 rounds of pistol ammo.
•2 pistol magazines.
•Ability to carry at least 1 pistol magazine on your body.
•Quality pistol holster that stays open after drawing.
•Hat and sunscreen recommend.
•Eyes protection.
•Ear protection that allows a proper check weld.
